Under the title "Lifeline", Manara Organization today launched a first aid course in coordination with the Youth and Sports Committee and the Nurses' Union in Raqqa, in the Youth and Sports Committee Hall in the Municipal Stadium.
Both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course include the basics of first aid such as measuring pressure, temperature, wound suturing and CPR.
The initiative aims to train volunteers to save people's lives from real danger, such as stopping bleeding and performing CPR, before the ambulance arrives, in addition to educating and empowering the youth in this field.
The course will be given by specialized trainers from the Nurses Union in Raqqa, and the number of trainees has reached 60 trainees.
It is worth noting that the duration of the course is one month.
At the end of the course, the trainees will undergo an assessment on the basis of which they will be awarded a certificate of pursuing a course in the field of first aid.
The Alliance of Religions organization also provided 5000 masks to the Manara Organization for the necessity of the first aid course.
