Project for Supporting and Empowering Women in Al-Tabqa City (B)
The Al-Ahd Organization, in partnership with the Demos Organization, implemented a project in Al-Tabqa city, targeting 10 women's projects. The project duration was four months and aimed to empower and develop women economically in their communities by supporting their existing initiatives with tools and resources to enhance growth, sustainability, and long-term impact.
Key Achievements:
The project provided training in small business management to 10 beneficiaries over five days. The sessions covered financial and logistical management, time management, and marketing. Additionally, beneficiaries were equipped with tools to help improve their existing projects. The initiative successfully contributed to sustainable development, humanitarian response, social cohesion, and peacebuilding.
Main Objective:
To economically empower women in their communities by supporting their existing projects with resources and tools that foster growth, sustainability, and long-term impact.
Sub-objectives:
1. Empower women with advanced skills in project management to enhance their ability to effectively lead their businesses.
2. Support women-led small businesses by providing essential tools and equipment to boost productivity, achieve sustainable growth, and promote peacebuilding.
Activities Aligned with Sub-objectives:
Objective 1:
Organize an intensive training program on project management, including five-day workshops for 10 women beneficiaries. The training sessions, conducted in a designated venue, aimed to enable participants to manage and expand their projects efficiently.
Objective 2:
Provide essential tools and equipment to 10 women beneficiaries, enabling them to scale up their small businesses, improve productivity, and enhance the quality and efficiency of their output.
This initiative demonstrated significant positive outcomes in advancing women's economic roles, fostering community development, and promoting peace and stability.
