My School, My Second Home

On Sunday 5-9-2021, Al-Diyar Association, in partnership with the Euphrates Organization for Relief and Development and Al-Yasmeen Association, launched a one-month volunteer initiative entitled "My School, My Second Home" that works on two activities.
The first activity: Cleaning and sterilizing the targeted schools to contribute to protection, prevention, and limit the spread of Covid-19, protect our children and families from the spread of this epidemic, and welcome a safe and secure new school year. The campaign aims to sterilize schools in the north of Al-Raqqa (Al-Abbara, Helou Abd, Al-Kalta, Khneiz, Hazima, Al-Asadiya, and three schools in Al-Raqqa city).
The second activity: planting forest trees in 9 schools implemented by the staff, children and education staff for each targeted school with the aim of cohesion and joint action in protecting the contents and property of the school (Our Second Home).
On the first and second day, the following workshops were cleaned and sterilized: Al-Abbara middle school, Helou Abd School, Al-Kalta High School, Thulth Khneiz School.
And this campaign is continuing its activities to cover the rest of the targeted areas by voluntary action within the capabilities available to us to protect and support the people of the community.
