Inclusion and Empowerment of People with Disabilities in Society

Nudem Organization for People with Disabilities implemented, in coordination with Pel Organization, a training workshop at Pel Center entitled; "How to Integrate and Empower People with Disabilities in Society". The participants were 26 people from CSOs, workers and those interested in the field of disability, as well as, members and volunteers of Nudem.
The workshop dealt with the following subjects: Defining people with disabilities - types of disabilities - empowerment - integrating - communication skills with people with disabilities.
The trainer of the workshop is Mr. Hoshang Ismail, an activist in the rights of people with disabilities, a trainer for psychological support and vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities, a member of the Syrian Association for the Handicapped, and a graduate of the Information Rehabilitation Institute in Damascus.
