Closing of Discussion Session in Qamishli

On Thursday, Nudem organization concluded the activities of Training Families of People with Disabilities Initiative 16/9/2021.
The sessions highlighted topics related to economic and social marginalization, challenges and difficulties for people with disabilities and their main needs, and solutions.
These sessions came to contribute to achieving a receptive society for this group and to enhance dialogue among the families, society and the relevant institutions. They addressed real issues that affect people with special needs, and to reach solutions to serve this group in participatory ways, enhancing community participation, finding solutions, seeking to alleviate difficulties and involving this group as an essential part of society.
These discussion sessions constitute a space of communication between the families of people with disabilities, the members of society and Nudem organization to discuss their problems and come up with recommendations, ideas and initiatives that will promote the integration and rehabilitation of this group into society.
We aim to provide services and integration of all groups of persons with disabilities in local communities and to provide them with development, technical and integration services, physical, psychological and vocational rehabilitation and talent support through activities, program and coordination with relevant organization and institution.
Nudem organization for disabled persons is an independent, humanitarian non-governmental and non-profit organization that seeks to provide care, rehabilitation and integration for all persons with disabilities in local communities in accordance with humanitarian principle and values.

The beneficiaries were 240 families: 24 Al-Halaliya neighborhood – 33 Gharbia – 31 Al-kournesh – 13 Al-Zohoor neighborhood – 9 Beshrie and Assryia- 24 kadorbek – 39 Antaria – 11 Kanat Alsuis – 37 Alaiya – 13 Umm Al-Fursan.
