Increasing the Price for Passenger Transportation in the Self-Administration Buses by 100%

The Self-Administration has announced that the price for passenger transport on public domestic buses has been increased by 100%.
The local radio station, Arta, said, "The new price increased from 100 SYP to 200 SYP per passenger, according to the new decision."
They added, "The co-chair of the Transportation Directorate in Qamishli canton, Muhyiddin Darwish, explained to Arta FM that the decision came after the increase in the price of diesel."
They pointed out that, "Buses were supplied with diesel at a price of 150 SYP per liter, while the price of a liter rose to 415 SYP."
They also indicated that, "the public internal transport buses had started their work for the first time in some cities of Al-Jazeera in mid-2019 by a decision of the Directorate of Transport."
