Terrorist Attack Thwarted in Deir Ezzor Countryside

The fighters of the Hajin Military Council of the SDF thwarted this evening, Wednesday, an attack carried out by two unknown mercenaries riding a motorcycle in the western town of Al-Jarthi in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. One of the attackers was killed and his body was captured by our fighters, while the other fled and hid among civilian homes. Our forces, which thwarted the attack, continued their patrols in the area to follow up their operations in pursuit of terrorist cells, and the body was transferred to hospitals for an autopsy to determine the identity of its owner. This is the second attack that our forces have thwarted in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in two days.
