Al-Hol Camp…Internal Security Forces curbs a thwart of ISIS families attempting to flee
On Saturday, the Internal Security Forces ‘’Asayish’’ announced the thwart of an attempt to smuggle a number of residents in Al-Hol Camp for Syrian IDPs, Iraqi refugees and Islamic State (ISIS) families in NES. The Asayish said that (13) members of ‘’ISIS’’ family fighters had attempted to flee the camp before our forces could arrest them. The families of the jihadist organization attempted to flee through water tankers that enter the camp. The Asayish indicated that the group attempted to flee consists of five Syrians and eight Iraqis, and among them were four women. The Internal Security Forces stated that the group was about to flee to Tal Abyad city that is occupied by the Turkish forces and the Syrian Islamic militias loyal to it. ISIS families use water tankers and others to flee from Al-Hol Camp in NES and to reach the areas occupied by the Islamic militias backed by Turkey. It is to be mentioned that Al-Hol camp houses more than 60 thousand person, it houses thousands of ISIS family members.

Conducting a joint patrol between the Russian Military Police and the Turkish Occupation Forces in the town of Darbasiyah
On Thursday, the Russian military police conducted a joint patrol the Turkish occupation forces in the countryside of Darbasiyah town, NES. The Russian-Turkish patrol launched from the border point of Bab Shirk between Darbasiyah town and Turkey. According to a report by Hawar News Agency, the joint patrol made up of (5) Russian armored vehicles, (4) Turkish armored vehicles and two Russian helicopters. The patrol wandered in Shirk, Khazneh, Dhahr al-Arab, Kairouan, Birkenis, Malak, Ibrahimia, Fakira and Haliwa. It is to be noted that this joint patrol is number (45) since signing Sochi Agreement on October 22, 2019 between Russia and Turkey.

The advancement of end-of-year examinations date in Al-Hasakah Governorate
On Thursday, the Directorate of Education of Syrian regime government announced the advancement of end-of-year examinations date. The resolution of Education Directorate came after infections with Coronavirus had been raised in NES. According to the new resolution, end-of-year examinations in schools affiliated to Syrian regime will start on April 25th, after it was supposed to start on May 19th. This resolution only applies to pupils at fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades. The ministry of Education had decided to adopt the results of first setting exams for the first four classes as criteria for pass or fail. It is to be noted that both governmental institutions as well as governmental and private universities have suspended their work for days due to Coronavirus pandemic.

ON Wednesday, the Health Directorate affiliated to the Autonomous Administration of NES in Tel Tamer launched an awareness campaign in order to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic
On Thursday, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of NES recorded 200 cases of Coronavirus. With the registration of new infection cases, the number of people infected has increased since the start of the pandemic to (11.533) thousand people. The Health authority also has recorded five death cases due to the virus, increasing death toll to (410) person. In that sense, the Autonomous Administration did not announce the registration of any recovery case. It is to be noted that the Autonomous Administration of NES had imposed a lockdown in three main cities, namely, Qamishlo, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah as well as a partial lockdown in the rest of areas of the Autonomous Administration.

The demise of a prominent leader in the Kurdish movement in Syria
On Thursday, one of the most prominent leaders of the Kurdish movement in the city of Qamishli, NES demised. Yusef Dibo who joined the first Kurdish party in Syria in 2957 demised and he worked in the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria, then he joined the Left Kurdish Party of which he was appointed as general secretary from 1989 until 1997. The demised Yusef Dibo left the Kurdish political movement since 1999 after a rift in the political bureau of the Kurdish Left Party. It is to be noted that Dibo was arrested six times by the government of Syrian regime and he was deprived from his civil rights since 1974.

The resumption of Iraqi refugees return to their country from Al-Hol camp after a cut that lasted for more than years after an approval by the Iraqi Government
On Wednesday, the administration of Al-Hol camp for Syrian IDPs and Iraqi refugees announced the resumption of return for Iraqi refugees to Iraq. The decision of returning Iraqis to their country came after an approval by the Iraqi government for receiving them, after a stop that lasted for more than three years. It is presumed that the administration of the camp that is located in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah governorate to launch trips for returning Iraqi refugees to Iraq starting from the next week. The first batch accepted by the Iraqi government to receive includes (500) hundred families in the camp, who were registered since 2018 and 2019. So far, the Autonomous Administration returned more than 7500 Iraqi refugees, coordinating between the Iraqi government and the Autonomous Administration of NES. It is to be noted that (8256) Iraqi families, with a total number of (30.738) thousand people live in Al-Hol camp, while the number of people residing in the camp is (59.500) thousand people.
