A Voluntary Campaign to Clean Al-Khabour River Sides

Because of the great neglect that rivers suffered from during the war years, Hlom Development Organization launched a voluntary initiative to clean up Al-Khabour River sides, which is considered to be the third longest river in Syria, and it provides water to large parts of Deir ez-Zur and Al-Hasaka cities. In addition, people rely on Al-Khabour river to water their plantings and crops. The initiative will be implemented through several stage.
Hlom Development Organization invites all the people who are interested in environmental and humanitarian affairs to participate in the campaign and clean up the river’s sides.
