On Tuesday, the Health Authority in the Self-Administration announced the resumption of the work of the Coronavirus examination laboratory in Northeastern Syria. The Health Authority said, "The Self-Administration announces the resumption of the work of the Corona examination laboratory after securing the necessary raw materials." They added, "The Health Authority in the Self-Administration of Northeastern Syria announced the resumption of the work of the PCR laboratory, starting on Thursday, December 16, after securing the raw materials needed for the examination." The Health Authority Official said, "The work was stopped due to the exhaustion of test strips and extraction materials, adding that the materials for analyzing the smears have been secured, and work in the laboratory will start again." It is noteworthy that the Health Authority announced that the PCR laboratory for detecting people infected with the Coronavirus in Northeastern Syria had stopped working due to the loss of some raw materials in the Health Authority laboratories in the Self-Administration of Northeastern Syria.
